Bernese Mountain Dogs – Crafty Dogs Knit

Dogs are dear to the heart of designer/author Peggy Gaffney. She has been actively breeding and showing her Samoyeds of Westernesse for over forty years. This gave her the opportunity to understand the world of dogs when she began to create portraits of dogs in knitting at her Kanine Knits studio. After many years as “the sweater lady” in the world of dogs, designing custom knit sweaters for owners of the top show dogs in the US, she began to create a series of books that would make these designs available to dog loving knitters. The Crafty Dog Knits series from Kanine Knits has been welcomed with open arms by dog lovers in North America, Europe and Australia.
